Lisa is the owner of Complete Fitness and Downtown Yoga Greenville. She is the director of yoga at Studio 17 in Greenville, SC as well as the Fitness Director at Green Valley Country Club.

She found herself drawn into the health and wellness industry after watching her parents have very different aging realities; one extremely vibrant and full of life, while the other struggled with disease, low energy and unfortunately an overall less fulfilling existence. It is from this difficult experience that her passion for wellness originated and, over the last 18 years, it has flourished and continues to grow.

Since 1998, she has held/holds? certifications from ACE and NETA as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor adding certifications with Yoga Alliance along the way. She has had a personal yoga practice for over 13 years and has been a yoga teacher for 10.

Having experienced the benefits personally, Lisa strongly believes that yoga offers a way to, increase vitality in our lives, heal the mind and body and that the practice itself encourages kindness and understanding amongst its students.

Recognizing that people are unique and one size does not fit all, Lisa seeks to develop thoughtful and positive approaches designed specifically for each individual while keeping their desires, needs and lifestyle in mind. She cultivates relationships with her clients that often evolve from a professional foundation into true long-lasting friendships. Her soft-spoken demeanor is inspiring, supportive and calming which allows clients to enjoy the practice and encourages maintaining a consistent and healthy lifestyle.

Her natural talent for connecting with people and a continued commitment for learning has allowed her to work successfully with a client base of all ages and fitness levels. With the depth of knowledge only gained from years of experience and a great love of her practice she enthusiastically supports clients in varies stages of their wellness journey. Whether your interest is in traditional weight training and core strengthening, or exploring a yoga practice, her approach is therapeutic by design.

Her support will come in many forms but the general encouragement will be to learn how to make yourself a priority.

Lisa has found her true calling assisting people in finding their optimal wellness point. She considers it her personal mission and a true privilege to introduce the art and practice of yoga to the community that has been so supportive of her.
Having lived here since 1990, It’s safe to say that Lisa loves Greenville and its residents, and has no intention of ever leaving. Giving back to the community that she calls home is a priority for her.

When she isn’t working with clients in private or group settings, she is developing wellness programs for corporate personnel. These programs are designed to preserve happiness, keep productivity high, stave off illness and offer healthy workouts during lunchtime and end-of-workday periods. Additionally, Lisa works in the Greenville County school system, bringing yoga and fitness to teachers keeping them in top mental and physical shape to better handle the stresses that their occupations present.

Another joy of Lisa’s is working with talented up and coming yogis offering a safe place to improve their skills and technique with the goal of imparting knowledge and thereby strengthening the local Yoga educational community.
